Pressing Unmet Needs in Atopic Dermatitis Management

Dr. Justin Marson (00:00):
Hi, I am Dr. Justin Marson. I completed my residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn. Even though atopic dermatitis, it's been one of the most common dermatoses that dermatologists see on the daily basis in clinic, there are still a lot of things I think that we are still learning about atopic dermatitis. Being able to identify in vast patient populations and how, in darker skin tones, can look more papular. It can look more different in people with Asian backgrounds, and just being able to understand that atopic dermatitis comes in more of a spectrum of presentations.
(00:44):
And then, certainly advocating for our patients and educating our colleagues in primary care so they can better identify atopic dermatitis when it has those atypical presentations. And be able to send them to us sooner so we can help control the disease before it gets out of hand.
